Kyle & Sandy's Wedding Day

On Saturday, July 17th, we travelled down to Cockeysville, MD, to meet the rest of the Gutshall clan and go to Kyle & Sandy's wedding.  Everyone was so excited, since Kyle is the first of the 11 Gutshall grandchildren to get hitched (btw Kyle is my 1st cousin, son of Anita Rae & Alan Reese, brother to Kara).  Oma, our 92 year-old grandmother, had been planning her outfit for six months in preparation for the big day -- she was overjoyed that the big day had arrived.

We entered the banquet hall at Hunt Valley Golf Club, and its floor to ceiling windows greeted us with a gorgeous view of the green and surrounding valley.  The ceremony took place outside on a terrace -- it was very hot, but shaded -- and afterwards we headed inside to party the night away.

I was a little skeptical of the "kiddie table", a fixture of every Gutshall gathering, but it turned out to be the best idea!  Nelson & I had so much fun with my cousins.  We cheered for the bride and groom, tipped the bartender to get wine for the table, and danced until the night came to an end.

It was an all-around wonderful time -- thanks so much Kyle & Sandy for inviting us to share your special day with you!  Congratulations!  Hope you had a relaxing honeymoon in Mexico!
