Making Headway

Our first success of the weekend was meeting with Rev. Jo Ann Roussey, who has kindly agreed to officiate our wedding! Jo is a family friend of the Emigs, and she also married Liz and Brian two years ago (photo insert: Liz and Brian cutting their wedding cake on May 17, 2008). Nelson and I really like the way Jo incorporates family and love into a meaningful ceremony. We are so excited to start putting our ceremony together with her.

And in other news: invitations are finally done!  I tweaked and revised about 30 times, causing Nelson to nearly burst with frustration. I guess you might say that I tested his patience.  But now they are printed, glued, stuffed, sealed, stamped, and ready to be taken to the post office.

Now we are off to Maryland for Kyle and Sandy’s wedding.  Everyone is buzzing with excitement. Kyle is the first of the Gutshall cousins to be married!!
